If you’re working with Dynamics 365, one thing is clear: process-first transformation is no longer optional.
Since Microsoft introduced the Business Process Catalog (BPC) in May 2024, it has quickly become a foundational asset for ERP programs across the ecosystem. With quarterly updates, Microsoft continues to deepen the catalog to help customers, partners, and sellers deliver faster, lower-risk Dynamics 365 implementations.
The December 2025 update is now live and fully available in Mavim. Here’s what’s new, what it unlocks in Mavim, and how you can explore it further during DRIVE Dynamics 365 Feb 3-6.
The December release adds more structure, depth, and implementation readiness to the BPC — especially for teams moving from design to execution.
Microsoft introduced Level 5 system processes and Level 6 test cases, starting with Source to Pay. This provides clear traceability from end-to-end business processes down to system steps and validation, enabling stronger governance, testing, and automation readiness.
A redesigned deliverables tree replaces generic configuration items with structured, specialized deliverables. This improves traceability, lifecycle management, and reporting across all implementation phases.
Additional workshops have been added to the Success by Design delivery plan, giving teams clearer guidance on how to apply the BPC throughout planning, implementation, adoption, and optimization.
Together, these updates strengthen the BPC as a practical delivery framework — not just a reference library.
